Open Question: how can i protect my graphic novels?

30 July 2010, 6:57 am

I have a copy of Watchmen bought for me in 1987, I'm not a comic book collector but a comic book lover and I have read this copy countless times, as have my dad and older brother. Recently, through some contacts that my dad has at work, I was able to meet Dave Gibbons and he not only gave me his email address and a lot of advice but offered to sign my copy of watchmen. I have bought a new copy to replace it and now wish to retire my battered old copy in fear that it will fall apart and my picture will be ruined. So my question is, how on Earth do I protect it? Are there some sort of special protectors for graphic Novels. Obviously it isn't going to fit into a comic bag and I don't just want to stick it in a box somewhere. Ideally I'd like a nice see through plastic box which I could keep it in. Does anyone know where I could get something like this?... Read More »
